W. Shannon Jones, Managing Director
Shannon joined Halstatt in 2014 to found Halstatt Legacy Partners, helping the company expand its burgeoning private equity investments practice into the lower middle markets. Prior to Halstatt, Shannon has enjoyed extensive experience as a founder and operator of small businesses, as well as investment banking advisor to the same. Shannon earned his undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science from Northwestern University, where he was a placekicker on the 1995 and 1996 Big Ten Champion teams, and a catcher on the baseball team. Shannon later returned to Northwestern to earn his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. He now resides in Naples, Florida with his chief advisor and spouse, Katie Brodnik, and their three wonderful kids.
Matt Littell, Principal
Matt Littell joined Halstatt Legacy Partners in 2018. Prior to Halstatt, Matt was a search fund entrepreneur who used Spec Limit Capital to acquire Progressive Bronze Products and Chicago Copper & Iron. These Chicago-based businesses manufacture and restore show-piece quality metal products for the religious, construction, and funeral industries. Matt ran the companies as CEO for more than seven years. He earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, a Masters in Engineering Management from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida. Prior to Kellogg, Matt held several leadership roles at GE Energy and GE Oil & Gas. His GE experience includes P&L ownership, Lean Six Sigma, and the Operations Management Leadership Program.
Patrick George, Principal
Patrick is a Principal of Halstatt Legacy Partners and the Chief Investment Officer of Halstatt. In this capacity he is responsible for managing the financial assets of the Halstatt Partnership and the Sproul family, overseeing investments across a wide variety of asset classes, including public and private equities, fixed income, commodities, hedge funds and various other alternative investments. He maintains close relationships with numerous money managers, institutions and other family offices. Mr. George also works closely with Trent Capital Partners, a direct private equity affiliate. Mr. George received an undergraduate degree, with honors, from Harvard College where he concentrated in Economics. In addition, he holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has over 17 years of principal investment experience.
