Matt Littell, Principal

In 2018, Matt joined Halstatt Legacy Partners, where he works with our search and operating partners to accelerate their efforts to find, buy, and grow small businesses. In addition to his work at Halstatt, Matt is an Adjunct Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at the Kellogg School of Management and a Co-Leader of the Zell Fellows Entrepreneurship through Acquisition program at Kellogg. Before Halstatt, Matt acquired and ran a metal manufacturing business for more than seven years. Earlier in his career, Matt held various roles at GE, including P&L ownership, Lean Six Sigma, and the Operations Management Leadership Program. Matt holds an MBA from Kellogg, a Master's in Engineering Management from Northwestern, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida.


Patrick George, Principal

Patrick is a Principal of Halstatt Legacy Partners and the Chief Investment Officer of Halstatt.  In this capacity he is responsible for managing the financial assets of the Halstatt Partnership and the Sproul family, overseeing investments across a wide variety of asset classes, including public and private equities, fixed income, commodities, hedge funds and various other alternative investments. He maintains close relationships with numerous money managers, institutions and other family offices. Mr. George also works closely with Trent Capital Partners, a direct private equity affiliate. Mr. George received an undergraduate degree, with honors, from Harvard College where he concentrated in Economics. In addition, he holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has over 17 years of principal investment experience.


Catherine Littell, Vice President of Operations

Catherine joined Halstatt Legacy Partners in 2018. Prior to Halstatt, Catherine worked extensively with start-ups and small businesses to support funding, scaling, and growth. Additionally, she has held a variety of leadership roles at Redbox Automated Retail and Starwood Hotels International. Catherine holds an MBA from the Booth School of Business at University of Chicago with a focus in Entrepreneurship and a BS in Hospitality Administration from Cornell University.
